Cindy Ewing

Counselor

Cindy is an advanced Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 20 years of experience working in substance abuse treatment.She has spent 15 of those years working with Cumberland Heights.Cindy incorporates CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Experiential therapy in her work. Her graduate work is focused on Neuroplasticity and Clinical Psychopharmacology. She believes meeting a patient where they are and being fully present for them is key to healing.

Marion Turner

Counselor

Marion Turner is a Licensed Counselor with five plus years of experience working in addiction and mental health. Prior to working at Cumberland Heights, Marion served in community mental health as a dual diagnosis therapist, working with individuals and families with both substance use disorders and other mental health issues. Marion believes in creating a safe container for healing – right on Music Row in the heart of Nashville. She says, “Our room of refuge has seen tears but also experienced a lot of laughter.”

Ebonye Dillard

Counselor

Ebonye is a Tennessee native who has been working in the field of substance use disorder since 2009. She is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor and is currently working on her second License as a Professional Counselor. She holds Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Ebonye has worked in residential, outpatient, and sober living settings during her career. Ebonye is committed to providing love and support to all on their path to recovery.

As someone in long-term recovery and has been in the field since 2000, Cindy Spelta is dedicated to relapse prevention. Cindy started working at Cumberland Heights in 2007 as a counselor and Gorski Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist and now serves at the Clinical Director of Outpatient Services. Cindy, A Nationally Certified Addiction Counselor and a LADAC II in the state of TN, wants to provide an environment filled with hope and healing. She’s passionate about helping those who are struggling find peace, health, happiness and quality of life. Cindy is also the organizer of Nashville’s annual RecoveryFest.
